Safety for animal food products promoted by a french professional network

Objectives

The Réséda network is a platform of exchange and dialogue on the subjects concerning managing the safety of foodstuffs of animal origin for human consumption (milk, eggs, meat...). Reseda has laid down its main issues :

  • ­ To contribute, throughout the food chain, to the control of the safety risks in foodstuffs of animal origin so that the consumer profits from sure products,
  • ­ To promote near the various food chain stakeholders the development and the implementation of codes of good practices and their control,
  • ­ To share a common vision on transversal subjects and to develop harmonized tools for a comprehensive communication within the production chains,
  • ­ To integrate in the debates the european dimension of subjects related to food safety.

Composition

RESEDA, “Network of the professional and interprofessional organizations for the Safety and the quality of the Animal Food products” is a network of partners of livestock production chains which gathers to date :
